4. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for the information they submit and for ensuring that their listings are lawful, accurate, and not misleading.

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.
• Own the listed vehicle or property, or have the legal authority and permission to advertise or sell it.
• Provide genuine and relevant photographs and descriptions.
• Ensure that advertising the listing does not violate another person's rights or applicable laws.
• Notify Selam Marketplace if a listing has been sold, is no longer available, or should be changed or removed.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for making their own independent decisions and investigations before entering into a transaction.

• Verify important information independently before making a purchase or payment.
• Inspect vehicles, properties, ownership documents, and other relevant materials before completing a transaction.
• Take appropriate precautions before sending money or entering into an agreement with a seller.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Commission Policy

Where applicable and agreed with the seller, Selam Marketplace may charge a commission of up to 2% of the final sale price when a vehicle or property is successfully sold through our platform.

Any specific commission amount, payment method, due date, or other applicable conditions may be communicated separately to the seller.

7. Listing Approval and Removal

Selam Marketplace may review listings and reserves the right to approve, reject, edit, suspend, hide, or remove any listing or content when reasonably necessary to operate the platform, enforce these terms, address complaints, or comply with applicable laws.

8. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Selam Marketplace to:

• Publish fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive listings.
• Make false claims of ownership or authority.
• Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activities.
• Upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
• Attempt to damage, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our services or systems.

9. Transactions Between Users

Buyers and sellers are generally responsible for negotiating and completing their own transactions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Selam Marketplace is not a party to the sale agreement between a buyer and a seller.

10. Disclaimer

Selam Marketplace provides a platform for displaying and discovering listings. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, ownership, quality, safety, availability, or condition of any listing, vehicle, property, seller, buyer, or transaction.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Selam Marketplace shall not be responsible for losses, damages, disputes, fraud, injuries, payment issues, transaction failures, or other problems arising from interactions or transactions between users.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Selam Marketplace, or remove content or listings, when reasonably necessary to protect users, operate our services, investigate suspected violations, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce these Terms.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Selam Marketplace after changes become effective may be subject to the updated terms.
